Less Protein on Non Workout/Off Days? (Cut)

I'm 5 11' with 18-19% bf, 176 lbs. I'm about to go on a cut with 2280 calories. 179p / 234c / 80f. Can i consume less protein on off days (sat/sun)? 154g protein. So i can save my whey for a month?. Also do any of you eat more on off days? zig zag cut? is this done only when not loosing weight?
