Hi everyone. I’ve just tried out a new recipe including red split lentils and I was led to believe that I’d be getting around 25 grams of protein per 100g of lentils?
After logging the ingredients into my fitness pal, I realised this was far from the case! More like 9g per 100g!
Now I’ve seen some other videos claiming you can get 25g protein per 100g of and I’ve even found a brand of lentils named “Natco” who indeed have 25g of protein per 100g.
Why is there no information out there on why there is such a big difference in what people are claiming? Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Cheers 😁
