Hey guys I’m new to this forum. 28yo male mesomorph currently 197lbs and want to be 190 I used to be 220lbs mostly fat. I’ve been bodybuilding for almost 5 years now and I am barely getting into calculating macros and already seeing incredible results. I’m leaning out like crazy but would love to gain more lean muscle mass or at least keep what I have which is a good size of muscle mass already. What I’ve calculated for my macros is 40%c, 30%p and %25f. I have hit those goals the past 2 weeks but the way this prep week turned out I will be getting roughly 230g of Protein. I’ve read it’s essential to get a g of protein a lb but I’m eating 33g higher then that at 197lbs. Am I going over the top with protein? My carbs are still higher by not much about 245-50. I’ll always keep my fats in the 18 to 25% range. Any helpful tips is much appreciated I’m pretty new to the nutrition part. Thank you
