So i'm an 18 year old, i'm around 6'1 (Haven't checked in a minute) and I weigh upwards of 71kg as of now. I've been sticking to a "bulking" diet or so I believe it is, for about 2 and a half months now and i've gained 4kg (started at 67kg). All i've bothered to measure are my arms which started at 13.5inches and are now at 14.2inches. I'll list my rough daily diet below for advice on if I should continue doing this until about 4 months where i'd change to a cutting diet to burn off the fat I will have gained.
Breakfast: 150g of oats with roughly 3cups of milk
First Lunch: 4slices of Tuscan grain freya's bread, with a handful of Thin cut bluebird sour cream and chive chips in them.
Second lunch: Chicken and rice that I make, however much rice 1/2 uncooked makes, aswell as 100g of chicken(maybe 20g extra) - has spring onion in
Dinner: A pasta with 100g(uncooked weight) Penne pasta, and roughly 200g of beef mince(has spring onion in it and a Dolmio italian and herbs pasta sauce)
I normally go to the gym with my mates at 6pm so my dinner will include a protein shake (Myshake (triple chocolate fudge) - myfitnesspal name
Snacks: Throughout the day I have two servings of fruit, right now a banana and a kiwifruit aswell as 30g of almonds
All of this brings me to around 3500calories a day. On average this gives me a 45%Carbs 33% fats 22% protein ratio. Would be great to know if this diet is good for me at all or how I can adjust it, keeping in mind this is affordable for me as an 18 year old as it's around $42NZD a week and I can cook 5 days worth on monday to last me until friday.
