Empty calories and body comp

Don't send me to stickies, i've read many of this **** around here and i still dont have it clear.

Apart from meeting the micronutrients, proteins fat fiber etc i've read that what determines your body comp is calories in vs calories out. I wanna make it clear that dont give a **** about healthy or unhealthy.

Then what is the difference between eating 200 calories of outmeal and 200 calories of lays chips. Both are carbs right? So then, i can eat whatever i want as far as it isn't processed sugars right?

So lets say im 140lb i can lean bulk as long as i eat in a 200-500 calorie surplus + 0,7g x 140 of protein a day, doesnt matter if its mcdonald's food, fried stuff in olive oil, sausages or blood sausages and a long etc.

Because thats what i've learned in this nutrition forum. What surprise me is that every ripped strong guy i've met in person eats zero dirty food, only protein+vegetables oil , complex carbs avocados and protein shakes
