Weird question.

Say your daily caloric intake is 1600 calories and you eat exactly 1600 calories. Then let's say you go for a run and burn 200 calories. Later that night you eat a snack that's 200 calories. Does the snack and exercise cancel each other out or is there more to it than that? Also is it a bad idea to eat more calories than your daily limit for weight loss even though the exercise theoretically keeps it at the limit? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Not sure exactly where a question like this would be posted.
