How do you guys eat enough iron?

I had blood work done recently and it said my hemoglobin was a bit too low so i need to eat more iron this month and then have another blood test done in october.
So i looked up the amount of iron needed and it says for males it's 8mg a day and for women 18 mg. Since i'm on a deficiency i think doubling the amount might be good so i'm aiming for 16 mg or so.

However it's difficult to reach this number. Spinach is only 2.7 mg per 100 grams.
Chicken is 1.3 mg per 100 grams. And steak is 2.4 mg per 100 gram but i can't afford the latter every day.
How do women get 18 mg a day?
I don't think i can eat more than 200 mg of spinach a day and even that's not enough.

Do you think i should just buy iron supplements? Will rep for answers.
