Body needs more protein than most?

I feel like my body needs more protein than the average person. I wouldn't even really consider myself a bodybuilder, but I felt like people on this forum tend to know more about nutrition than anywhere else on the internet so I thought this would be a good place to start.

I haven't really even been working out consistently because of personal issues (losing access to transportation, having to move several times in a short period), but I still work out in whatever way I can, whenever I can.

On days I don't work out, my body needs about 125g of protein. If I eat less than a pound of meat in a day, I get migraines, I get sad, I get tired, and I feel totally useless. When I actually work out, I need about 2 lbs or 200g of protein. I'm female and I weigh 160lb (though... before all this crazy **** happened in my life I was 130... hopefully I can get some sort of routine again soon.)

I'm posting here because while I have heard recommended protein intake for bodybuilding, I haven't ever heard of someone having so many problems if they DON'T eat that much, especially someone who isn't going hard. In my personal life, I don't know anyone who eats more than a couple of servings of protein a day. I thought the recommended amount for bodybuilding was more to aid in strength training, not "Do This or Else You Will Suffer". Am I wrong? Are other people wrong? Do I need to get checked out by the doctor? Does my body just need more protein and other people don't need as much?

Also -- I have trouble getting it all in, tbh. I can't do dairy or I get stomach cramps (even the weigh shakes with the other parts of the dairy cut out). I tend to just get various kinds of ground meat, because I can't mess up cooking it. I find it hard to keep up everyday because it gets boring, but when I give it up, I end up eating less protein and end up with a migraine.

Any input would be much appreciated!

tldr; I have to eat a bodybuilder's amount of protein even when I'm not exercising, worry if it's exposing an underlying problem, and I struggle to consume it everyday.
