I was in mexico last week and I put on somewhere between 8-10 pounds. Prior to this I was bulking on a very conservative surplus for about 1 month.
Moving average weight prior to the trip was 167.
It's been 4 days so far and my weight came down from 181 and looks to be settling around 176 - 177. This amount of weight gain was supposed to take me 5-10 months. It's not just water weight because I had an initial 3 pounds of water weight gain when I went from deficit to maintenance to surplus about 6 weeks ago.
What would you do in my position? I'm considering doing a 500 cal deficit for about a month to at least get rid of 2-4 pounds of fat. Or should I just continue with the small surplus that I was running prior to the trip?

I'm planning to bulk until about 195 and wanted it to take over a year.
