I have been going to the gym for 6 months firstly with the goal to lose weight but now it has changed to getting strong! I lost weight slowly for the first 3 months but havnt lost any for the last 3.
I am 5"11 and 11st2lb (23yr old female) which is a healthy weight but I would like to lose a little more to get slimmer.
I consume more than enough protein (predominantly in the form of protein bars, shakes and yoghurts) and I do think I eat either maintenance calories or in a definite each day.
Due to struggles with eating disorders, tracking calories isn't an option for me but I have a tonne of knowledge surrounding food calories so can estimate very accurately.
So basically what I want to know is can I lose weight and build muscle at the same time? I already feel much stronger than I did 6 months ago but think that losing a little bit (maybe 4-5lb) would make me look stronger.
