Any thoughts or insights on the effects of alcohol consumption on bulking and the amount of fat and muscle gained?
I'm currently embarking on a bulk, which should last until October, with the plan to gain about 2lb per month. My normal drinking habits are as follows:
No alcohol on Monday or Tuesday
One wine or beer with dinner on Wednesday and Thursday
Two beers after work on Friday and usually 1-2 more (or a glass of winw) in the evening
Two beers or a beer and a wine on Saturday night
One beer or wine with dinner on Sunday
So in total that's nine drinks or about 14 standard drinks per week. On occasion I will have more or a little less, but that's pretty much my average week. What are the likely effects of this vs bulking without alcohol?
