Hey there BB.com. Was looking to see if an article like this existed already but didn't find one, so here I am hoping others might be able to help me out. I'm rather new here but not new to bodybuilding (lifted since middle school but recently got into it heavy) My question is this: I just recently got into Climbing and was wondering if this would effect my gainz? right now I've been climbing a week and I love it and don't want to give it up, but was wondering if it would hinder me from putting on muscle. I don't have a particularly heavy day job (sits at desk all day), but I workout hard in the weight room and in my climbing sessions. As of right now this is my weekly workout/climbing schedule:
Monday - Chest & Triceps (1.5hr) after work
Tuesday - Climb (1hr) before work & Legs/Abs after work (1.5hr)
Wednesday - Shoulders (1hr)
Thursday - Climb (1.5hr) early & Back and Biceps (1.5hr) later on
Friday - Chest (1hr) early & Legs (1hr) later
Saturday - Climb (1.5hr)
Sunday - Rest Day
Also I do about 3 hours of sports/cardio a week for my mandatory Physical Training (military).
Is this too much, I was literally in the gym about 10-11 hours/week before climbing making massive gainz eating ~200-250g protein/day and 3k-4k calories/day. Now my goals have shifted so not really sure how this translates since it's 11.5 hours of intense exercise but different kinds of exercise. Thanks in advance for any advice on the topic.
