Is recovery mostly nutrition?

Just say you were working out real hard, cardio daily, 90 minutes + and also weights, and doing a lot of activity. would eating be the most important thing for recovery?

i'm asking this becausei 'm thinking of playing soccer this year but i also want to keep up gym. Last time i playd soccer at a good level i found it hard ot keep gym up to i was tired all the time and lost a lot of muscle

if i ensure i'm eating big daily will ibe okay to do soccer and gym?
