Hey all, newbie to it all but this website seems most knowledgeable on health and fitness. My question is whether or not oatmeal and watermelon is a good idea about an hour before a workout. I know you should allow some time for digestion to work it's magic but is 1 hour enough for that meal. Also other meals recommended pre and post to help support weight loss. I'm trying to lose weight to join the military so faster is better but obviously not unhealthy fast. I've been on my health craze for about 8 months. Lost a total of 55ish pounds and putting on some good muscle mass but id like to see more and I know that comes from the diet portion of my journey so school me on some good routines y'all have.
