Eating more nuts could slow weight gain, researchers say

As per this article: https://news.sky.com/story/eating-mo...s-say-11817911

Why do they continue with these nonsense studies?

It would be like carrying out a study to find out what results in better fuel consumption - towing a ton of feathers or a ton of lead.

Although it does say, "Swapping out snacks such as chocolates, pastries and doughnuts with half a serving of nuts could prevent weight gain of between 0.41 and 0.7kg over a four-year period" which is a bit like saying, "Swapping out snacks such as half a serving of nuts with cucumber and celery could prevent weight gain of between X and Y over a four-year period."
