Being in a caloric surplus

Hi! i have a few questions about being in a caloric surplus, so im currently on a caloric deficit loosing weight, started my journey at around 87kg (190 pounds) 3-4 months ago, and have gone down to 80kg (176 pounds) and my current goal weight is around 72kg(158 pounds),im 180cm my current estimated body fat% is around 20%, im not following any diet just sticking with the basics, eat less move more,i workout 5 times a week and 3 times a week i run a 5k(outside),i estimate i can get to my goal early next year, so i want to get some information to when i get there
So a couple of things i want to know:
1-I have a very slow metabolism, so gaining weight for me is too easy, really really easy,i cant put on 2kg within 4 days if i stop eating less, so the question is, does someone like me need to be in a caloric surplus to gain muscle?or could i just be at a caloric maintenance?,considering that im already quite big. Because im currently under the impression that only people with a more skinny type of body should definitely be on it

2-And if i do need to be in a caloric surplus, one of my fears is that i might get fat again, can someone explain to me how that process of eating a lot and not get fat works?

3-And lastly about cardio, as i said i run 3 times a week, will i have to stop doing it, reduce it? from what i have understood cardio kills gains, reason why a lot of bodybuilders and such do only some or none at all

Any help is appreciated
