He suggests that anything with a nutrition label is processed food (that is processed foods require the labels), but I’m not so sure that makes total sense to me. I’m cutting out anything with added sugar, but what about something like whole-plain Greek yogurt, milk, or bacon? Those are processed but not in the same class as things with added sugar to me. I make my own bacon from pork bellies but still use nitrates, is that processed?
I’m not aiming to be perfect but trying to understand what processed foods I really want to stay away from.
