Hey guys I have a question about protein intake. So I’ve had a few programs or even a coach at one point and literally everyone suggests a different protein %.
Kinobody Program is .8g per lb
Bigger leaner stronger is 1.2g per lb
A coach I had was almost 1.4g per lb
Those are just a few examples. The fat % is usually the same all around that I’ve experienced but I’m just wondering is there any mega benefit to eating so much protein like these other programs/books suggest other than more protein keeps you full? I had pretty great results when eating 1.4g per lb honestly but it was almost like a contest prep and doing stuff like 25 mins of cardio and each week increased 5 mins until you hit an hour.
Does eating so much protein help more when it comes to muscle sparing when cutting? Or is it so small of a detail it doesn’t matter
