Been lifting for 9 months as a beginner, cutting up until a month ago. Started my first bulk almost a month ago. I have been weighing myself intermittently to see how my weight has fluctuated. Here are the weigh-ins:
21/07 171.4 (first day of bulk)
27/07 172.8
28/07 173.6
02/08 174.4
03/08 174.2
07/08 174.4
12/08 172.4
15/08 173.6
16/08 172.6
Currently on a PPLPPLx programme, in the gym for about 1.5 hours per day including 100 calories worth of cardio. Eating 3350 calories per day, every day since I started. Assuming I was just retaining a lot of water on those 174lb weigh-ins.
I am looking to eat about 300 calories above my maintenance. Macros are typically: 400 carbs, 100 fat and 180 protein. Does this seem like I am eating in the right area based on the, I will admit, fairly unreliable data?
