Adding olive oil to bulk ?

Hey, so i'm always strugling to eat enough calories to gain weight, and I also don't love to add a lot of carbs-heavy food like pasta because it makes me tired
Recently I discovered that olive oil has a ton of calories, and it's pretty easy/fast to take and doesn't lower my energy/focus-level like carbs-heavy foods
So would it be good to add like 300 to 500 calories of olive oil daily ?
I mean is it the same if I add 500 calories of olive oil or 500 calories of oats, in terms of weight/muscle gain ? (provided I already have enough protein daily, which I do)
