I started working out and was religious with it for the first 5 or so years, but for the past year or so I have been slacking HARD. Going to the gym once a week out of guilt at most (completely ignoring legs), just really lost my motivation. I have managed to maintain my weight (6'2, 220lbs) but have definitely lost muscle and gained fat. I have the desire to fully get back into it but I am mentally stuck on how to proceed, not to mention I am getting married in 6 months and want to look the best I can.
Do I immediately start cutting to shed some off the excess fat I have gained, then try to lean bulk a bit before the wedding to regain some size?
Do I say **** it and just lean bulk to like 230-235, then cut a few months before the wedding?
It's such a dilemma to me because I want to REGAIN what muscle I have lost but at the same time I have gained several % body fat that needs to get ****ed off as well lol.
