I was recently in a 7-Eleven looking for something to drink and I came across their line of cold pressed juices and they were on sale for 2/$5. Since I usually pay $12 for cold pressed, I figured they were worth a shot and . . they were amazing! All of the flavors were fantastic, even the green one, and I have gone back for more at various times.
Here's what the juice claims:
- All organic
- Non GMO
- All from real juice, nothing from concentrate
- Made in Turkey and certified organic by a Turkish association
Here's what worries me:
- The juice doesn't separate nearly as often as my other juices
- The juice has an expiration date at least 1 year into the future which I've never seen on a pure juice
- The incredible price point of 2/$5
So, I'm really confused here and feeling polarized about this. Either 7-Eleven is breaking the mold and proving that good, pure foods can be brought to the masses and be affordable OR 7-Eleven is making various claims about their product that are not 100% true.
