I just had weight lost surgery (vertical sleeve gastrectomy AKA VSG) in October 2019 and I am 5’8 and was 300 lbs pre-op and almost 3 months after surgery I’ve lost almost 50 lbs. With this surgery I was able to erase my type 2 diabetes and hypertension which helps a lot. I used to workout a lot but always had a hard time with nutrition and obviously you can’t workout a bad diet. Now that I’m back in the gym I am having a hard time working out due to the lack of fuel. I need some tips on what to eat before workout now that I have a new stomach and how long should I wait to workout after eating. I used to work out fasting but that was with supplements but now I have to be careful what I take. Any ideas that’s going to give me energy so I can finally get fit and work on the body that I’ve been dreaming of.
