Spiritual Fasting this week. Allowed one meal a day. Best way to preserve muscle?

Hi All,

Long story short, I'm 3 weeks into a cut and, coincidentally, I am doing a 5-day spiritual fast with my church this week. I'm doing the option of one meal a day and am wondering the best strategy for it? Obviously I'm nervous about lean muscle loss during this time.

I'm shooting for 500-1000 calories in that meal. Should it be a full rounded meal (high protein, complex carbs, good fats) or more keto?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My main goal is to minimize muscle loss (I spent half of 2019 bulking) and I feel my worry about that is interfering with the spiritual purpose of the fast.
