Putting on weight.

I’m 17 and have been lifting for around 6 months. I’ve made great progress in the gym but my nutrition has made my gains minimal. I try to eat in a caloric surplus and get in around 2800 calories a day but it’s a huge struggle as I have difficulties getting food down. I’m 5”10 and weigh 9 stone and 4 pounds. Does anyone have any advice for ways to put on weight that are easier than the traditional methods of binge eating chicken and rice ? Any help would be much appreciated.
