Hello. Recently I started working out and eating clean. However, I am in oblivion when it comes to macros. I used an online fitness calculator that gave me my macro stats. I’m tying to lose fat and my caloric deficit is 20% so my caloric intake is roughly 1,718. My macros per meal are: 45.6 g of protein, 61.6 g of carbs, and 16 g of fat. However, I do not know if I have to have exactly the amount of macros aforementioned per meal or if I can have a little more or less per meal. The foods I eat (steak, whole wheat pasta, etc.) have various protein, carb, and fat quantities and trying to get exactly the amount of macros the calculator said I should have is impossible. How should I approach this going forward? My goal is 8% body fat and from what I’ve heard I need to eat the exact macro amount per meal.
