Need help to develop a diet program

I know all too well that eating right is key to building a better body..but I always struggled with what to eat, when and how much.. and when to work out. I'm looking for anyone who can help coach me on what works for them regarding the foods to eat. I don't go to a gym and prefer to work out at home. I know this limits my exercises, but I don't have the time to drive back n forth to a gym. I have a barbell and dumbbells with a bench at home. I hope someone can help!
