Hi guys, as I wrote in the title, I just finished a 4 weeks long minicut today, hitting the objectives I prefigured before starting ( reduce bf % a little, take a break from massive food intake due to hot weather and not too much hunger, while mantaining strenght and lean mass)
Not a competitor of course, but I'm satisfacted
Due to a large, aggressive deficit tho, I'm not sure what to do, I was previously mantaining weight at 4500 kcal daily, I dropped immediately to 2500 and ramped up cardio ( for another additional 2-300 deficit / day)
I know 4 weeks didn't really mess with metabolism and such, but how do you recommend to proceed?
1) Straight into 4500 and restarting from there ( Risks of rebound, fat regain etc?)
2) Slowly going back to that amount, introducing like 100-200 calories a day 'til the goal
?
Thanks in advance guys
P.s. I searched around the board, opinions seem sparse so I preferred to ask specifically for my situation
