On my third reverse diet. On end of my cut I wat at
2000 cal
200 P
150 C
67 F
(197 pounds 10% BF)
I’m up to 2400 cal now same weight, keeping protein flat and increasing carbs 15-20 a week and fat 1-3 g
Goal is to get to 3200 cal with minimal weight gain.
HERE IS MY QUESTION
I’m at the point where I’m eating 260 carbs and will only increase well past 300+. Has anyone experimented with keeping carbs relatively low (150-250) and continued to reverse / bulk with only increasing fat?
Asking because IMO 260 is plenty for my 1 hour bodybuilding workouts and from my understanding fats are more for hormone regulation etc so in theory I would imagine it would be easier to maintain leanness on higher fat vs higher carbs
I get I’m splitting hairs here but to the guys who are devoted I’m sure someone has experimented with both. I would love to here feedback
