Hi Guys,
So ive been doing alot of research where nutrition is concerned about the right amounts of protein and calories a day for building muscle. It would appear everything is aimed at proper bodybuilding routines!
If im wanting to gain some muscle but not bulk up crazily, is there a comfortable inbetween that I can start with so im eating alot but not stupid amounts? or is it an all or nothing in terms of gains?
My current diet is clean eating and has been for a few months now and is roughly 40/30/30 carbs/protein/fats and im lifting 4x per week, cardio twice a week.
In terms of experience I have minimal experience with proper lifting however was a gymnast for 10 years and MMA for most of that also, so had a fairly conditioned body to start with... but not where weight lifting is concerned this is quite new to me :)
So i wanna gain some but not go stupid with it. Cheers (also just seen my sig says 50 years old LOL, im 34 so ignore that)
