Nutrition Advice?

It took me a little bit to find a good calorie goal. I finally found that I was gaining small amounts of weight at around 3,150 calories on work out days. However, I went for 2,550 calories on my off day, and I gained over a pound.

I'm assuming this is water weight and food in my stomach.

I'm just asking for advice. Should I just stick to eating the same amount of calories on workout days that I was, and reduce the calories on rest days?
