Out of Keto, into gym need advice please!

G'day all!

Basically as the title states - I haven't been to the gym properly for years, and over the years I packed on some decent luggage. I was 115kg at my worst.

I got really deep into the whole keto low carb high fast and fasting world, now I weigh 88kg and have started going back into the gym.

First thing I notice with gym - energy is FINE (but not crazy) and I am getting gains, albeit not huge.

I'm planning to go back to whole carbs, protein and lower fat, still intermittently fast (still got fat) and start pushing the weights and some hiit.

My main issue - I can only get to the gym around 4-5am every morning. Hasn't affected me lately as I have been working out fasted with no real issues.

What I wonder is, if I plan to skip dinners to keep the fasting going, what should I be having pre workout if anything?

I will still be in a calorie deficit to drop these extra kgs but if anyone has real life experience with this is appreciate your input. I don't want my fat loss to be at a stand still to optimise muscle growth, I'd prefer to still lose the fat.
