Im about half way through the movie, I'll finish later but I have some questions.
My only criticism so far, is that EVERY "plant is better than meat' argument they give is only comparing 2 types of the extremes.
which are
1. High fat high protein diets from meat.
2. High fat high protein diets from plants.
In the move the doctor mentions high fat and protein from meat based diets can impair endothelial function. The doc stated eating bacon and eggs for breakfast, a burger for lunch, and a steak for dinner can do that, where plant based wont. The studies they cite all are high in meat consumption with high protein and high fat.
Not all of us eat a high fat high protein diet from meat alone. My diet is more balanced and most of my fats don't come from meat or dairy. Probably %10-%20 of my fat intake are from those sources. My protein is ~35% animal and 65% plant based.
My question is:
What about those of us who have more of a balance in meat and plant based proteins and not just high meat consumption. How does that compare to plant based only?
Or am I just wasting my time watching some Hollywood BS?
