Absurd study claims too much protein decreases testosterone? (opinions) (reps)

Hi guys,

came across an extremely absurd article that stated that ratio of high carbs to low protein leads to higher testosterone and a ratio of low carbs to high protein leads to low testosterone.

Aren't higher fat macros associated with higher testosterone? My diet is high in healthy fats (whole eggs, peanut butter, cheese etc) and I feel GREAT. Lots and lots of energy, high sex drive and a general sense of well being.

And what about guys who are on keto/paleo diets? According to this absurd study, they should have low testosterone.

The article in question: https://average2alpha.com/effects-of...-testosterone/

After googling a bit, found two more articles that stated exactly the opposite:

1) https://medium.com/@LucasTafur/is-a-...s-6c672ad474dd

2) http://caloriesproper.com/low-carboh...terone-levels/

and I tend to agree.

I used to eat a diet consisting of nearly 60% carbs, 20% fats and 20% protein. I was big and strong, but also overweight. Also felt very sluggish and in general lethargic.

After switching to a diet composed of 30% carbs, 35% fats and 35% protein - I became lean and mean whilst shedding a lot of fat. My face is now lean and chiseled and looks great. Lots of lots of energy and I feel GREAT.

Also it is a matter of preference nowadays. Instead of eating some pasta with - I would rather eat a nice, juicy chicken breast in a spicy marinade or say, an omelette. It tastes better.

Opinions??
