So I watched Christian Guzman's videos on calculating macros for cutting, and he said when you're cutting, reduce your daily calories by 300-500 below your BMR. What's causing confusion, is that when I work out, my fitbit will say I burned about 500 calories each time. So therefore my daily calorie deficit would be 1000 calories. Are you supposed to just ignore the calories you burn while working out, and set your macros strictly according to your BMR minus 300-500 calories while cutting? I've also read to not eat less than 80% of the calories you actually burn in a day. So which is it? Thanks fam
