Omicron can make kids sick, and is lethal for unvaccinated, says Cambridge virologist Ravindra Gupta

Gupta says the third dose is essential, because of the immune escape of Omicron, which requires higher antibody levels of protection against transmission, and adds that vaccinating vulnerable adults and children if possible is an optimal way to deal with the virus.
