Just a thought that struck me more than anything...
I received a fitbit for Christmas which I'm finding as a really fun piece of kit - great to see all the different metrics and data it estimates for you. One of these obviously is TDEE. My job is quite physical as a field engineer in the garage industry so I'm burning a decent amount throughout the day. According to fitbit my average TDEE since Christmas on rest days is still 2850, so with pinch of salt, 2650ish? Still a few pounds from my target weight so won't be changing my deficit any time soon, but my question is, if a clean bulk is to be in around a 250-350 calorie surplus, and I my TDEE is around the 2650 mark, I'm going to need to get around 3,100 calories, right? On gym and cardio days the TDEE value goes up over 4000 - does that translate to 4300+ calories to be consumed on training days?
My appetite has adjusted well to 1800 the past 10 months - trying to think how the hell I'm going to manage to get 3k+ down!
Cheers lads.
