Preworkout meal question

Hello, i have a question. I follow 3 meals a day, i like it that way (breakfast,lunch,dinner). I train mostly right after breakfast, so i woke up, have breakfast, and then like 1-1,5 hours after i go train. Problem is that sometimes i must train in different time in a day, so i have question about preworkout meal -> lets say i wake up at 8:00 AM and my training is at 2:00 PM. Is it ok to wake up and eat nothing (only water, coffee) just normal fasting and then like 1-2 hours before training have my first meal (breakfast) OR should i normally wake up, have normal breakfast and then go train at 2:00 PM ( 6 hours after breakfast) and then have my post workout meal ? What do you think is better ? Thanks
