how do you know you consumed the right amount of protein during the day to build musc

I have been dieting and training a lot lately , and i was told i wasnt consuming enough protein
i eat about 1 chicken breast for lunch and for breakfast i eat 2 eggs(one without yolk) , i eat a slice of cheese for lunch and breakfast along with potatoes and vegetables .i was told i wasnt consuming enough protein and i dont know if that is true, im 185 cm tall 81 kg i train 4 times a week (plan to increase to 5 times a week after i move back to the city) . am i consuming enough protein
