I have been working out on and off, but also eating poor calorie deficit diet for some time. I have lost about 12 pounds.
However, I just got back into working out and I am trying to find out my maintenance calories by keeping a log of everything I eat for the last couple days, and trying to keep my calorie intake near the maintenance that I found out using Harris-Benedict calculator to be at 2495, and have been eating about 2600/day. I have been lifting again for about a couple weeks and yesterday I could feel my body being more toned and yesterday it appeared I had gained some size back on my legs.
I weighed 163 pounds a couple days ago and now I am weighing 164 pounds. I want to gain lean muscle , and I am thinking .5 to 1 pound per week would be a good estimate. However, I have gained over 1 pound within 2 days.
