So to start off I am overweight. I want to lose around 100 more pounds, I've lost 30 so far. My fitness goal is to lose fat/weight while increasing my muscle mass and getting stronger. I have been intermittent fasting. I eat once a day, and I take a lot of supplements to make sure I'm getting enough nutrients since I'm not eating much. I feel good, I don't feel weak or hungry or anything like that, and I'm able to push myself hard at the gym. I also know that your body has to have the material it needs to be able to repair and build muscle. So my main question is with my eating routine, if I supplement with protein shakes and other nutrients will my body have what it needs to build muscle even though I'm in such a calorie deficit? Any help or recommendations would be very appreciated.
