Go to carb source

For the past year I’ve been eating 2-3 whole eggs and oatmeal every morning. I train around 12. This has worked well as far as energy requirements but I feel like the oatmeal is weighing me down. I’m thinking about switching to black beans as my morning carb source. Anybody have any experience with black beans in their nutrition? Thanks in advance
