How losing lean body mass may contribute to weight/fat gain over time

Here's a video I made on this topic for those curious. There is no published data to my knowledge that is really relevant for bodybuilders but if you want a general idea of what is known on the topic I cover much of the research in this video. The basic idea is that somehow the body seems to sense a loss of lean body mass and can then signal increased hunger levels until the lean body mass is restored to a prior point, but this occurs much more readily in people with a lower starting body weight than in people with obesity who lose moderate amounts of weight.
