Gaining muscle weight faster than loosing fat?

So everything was going good i had lost about 5lbs then stopped loosing weight. Iv been getting at least 120g protien per day and depending on the day stay around the 1600-2000 calorie consumed mark. Iv gained back about 3lbs could that be from muscle gain, iv been doing full body weight training 3 days a week and cardio/running 2 days a week, my recovery time is pretty good im almost 100% by just the next day. Or am i doing something wrong/not eating correctly. Im 6ft was down to 207 now im back up to 210.
