Here's an odd one. Always struggled to maintain strength bench/incline. Rarely surpass 70lb dumbbells for incline. Any off time or even weeks/s with barbells would result in weaker dumbbell strength upon return.
I drove Uber 30 hours per week for 2/3 weeks. Chest day gym dumbbell incline warm up 40 50 60 70--an easy 8. 80's 6/7 times. What the hell? On shoulder day I also pressed dumbbell extra 10 lbs to 70s.
Of course it was from driving/turning wheel hours per day. Is this combo of chest/shoulder/tri or hands/wrists that were lacking?
I was already working out upper body 4 times/week. Lax on hand/forearm exercises.
