As per the title, I'm at a cross roads and don't know if to continue bulking, or begin a cut. I don't want to cut and lose everything I've gained!
Timeline is:
- Started out, cut for a year from 210 pounds to 160 pounds.
- Bulked for a year from 160 pounds to 180 pounds.
- Lockdown for a year, ate around maintenance at 180 - 185 pounds.
- Last 5 months have made a final push to get to 190 pounds.
In the last 2 years measurements have gone from:
- Waist: 76cm to 83cm
- Chest: 107cm to 114cm
- Biceps: 36cm to 40cm
- Quads: 54.5cm to 60cm
Strength in the gym has stalled slightly recently, but could probably continue increasing if I increased calories further (at the expense of waist getting bigger). Am worried I might end up cutting back down to 160 pounds and be back at square one! On the flip side, the warmer weather is here and I don't feel like eating as much. I'm not happy with level of lean mass (probably never will be), but not happy with the little gut at the bottom of my waist either.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!
