Are bcaa's a good natural addition during cutting?

My gym had some cheap bcaa, but I didn't buy any.

Is it a good, natural supplement during cutting? I don't really want to hop on lots of gear or anything: creatine is the only thing I take. (And caffeine pills pre-workout.)

I always heard bcaa is kind of overhyped. What do you think?

I am currently cutting hard (with lots of cardio) and just lifting to maintain muscle.
