Is it better to have some fats in your dinner?

Just watched a Muscle and Strength video with Iain Valliere and he has some fats with his protein for dinner, without carbs, for the slower proteindigestion and having the aminos working in your system overnight.

Is that really necessary? Most of my fats are in the morning with my eggs and I dont really feel like changing them to dinner. I guess there's not a big difference since the same amount of protein is gonna get into your body, regarding of the digestion speed, but if I'm wrong, please correct me.
