I have a question, I hope I do not sound dumb. I am 199lbs, and I want to drop down to about 180 or so. Maybe 185. I am currently intaking 1900 or so calories a day, 185p,185c,50f.
When I first got back to the gym I felt energetic and workout very hard. I usually have my biggest meal of the day about 2 hours before the gym, and workout.
The last 2 days I have felt weak at the gym, and not sure what it might be.I usually have around 30-45 g of carbs and at last 30g of protein in my meals before the gym.
Lately I have been feeling very hungry during the day at times, and was wondering if maybe I needed to increase my calorie intake.
I wear a polar h10 chest strap, not sure how accurate it is, but at times it states that I burn around 7-800 calories during my workout.
I also use the whoop strap, and at the end of the day it usually lets me know I burned around 2600 or calories.
While I want to slim, I want to build muscle and strength, I am not sure how I can go about accomplishing this goal.
I do not want to feel weak while I work since I have days where I lift very heavy, well heavy to me and I want to keep doing that.
Is this possible? To do this at the same time?
I want to know how I can calculate how many calories I should have in a day, how many grams of p/c/f I should have.
Should I increase my intake?
I am looking for suggestions and help, or to be pointed in the right direction.
Thank you and sorry for rambling.
