How far do you walk each day (steps/miles) & does it play into your diet at all?

Ik what you're thinking...I'm NOT trying to start another tired old Feiggenbaum TDEE debate. I'm just curious because I've found that decreasing my step count from 15k down to about 10k per day has helped with my bulking efforts. I've also noticed that If I walk less than 7k steps per so, my appetite totally disappears. Has anyone else noticed similar changes?
